The Afghan forces put an end to an attack by a group of armed men on distribution center of Electronic National Identity Cards in Jalalabad city.

The provincial government said in a statement that the security forces eliminated all 3 assailants involved in the attack.

Nusrt Rahimi, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior earlier confirmed that the security forces had killed 2 of the assailants.

Rahimi further added that the security forces have also rescued the workers of the e-NIC distribution center.

Meanwhile, the provincial government said the security forces rescued at least 50 workers from the compound.
