On Thursday, the Taliban officially confirmed the death of Hoora Sadat, an Afghan YouTuber, who was killed in Kabul earlier this week.
Khalid Zadran, a spokesperson for the Taliban, said on a social media platform X that the incident occurred three days ago in the Kabul district.
Zadran revealed that authorities have apprehended two individuals, one woman, in connection with the incident.
The Taliban official also added that the investigation into the YouTuber’s death is currently ongoing.
