Abdul Hakim Dalili, Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Qatar died on Tuesday.

Government sources confirmed to Media, that Dalili passed away after being hospitalized on Monday.

 Reports indicated the Afghan Ambassador died of a heart attack in Qatar.

Officials from High Council for National Reconciliation, told the media, that “his death is a big loss to Afghanistan especially as he had been actively involved in the peace talks process”.

HCNR spokesman, Faraidoon Khwazoon said, Dalili worked hard to make Afghan peace process a success, media reported.

Dalili was sent to Qatar in February of 2019, he served as Afghanistan’s Ambassador to the country.

The Afghan Ambassador completed his studies in Doha, and before stepping into politics he used to be a teacher.
