Abdullah to Visit PM Khan in Near Future

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed his support to the Afghan peace process, as he seek a visit with chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation Abdullah Abdullah, HCNR said on a statement Wednesday.

In respond, Abdullah offer a positive feedback to pay Pakistan a visit upon Khan’s invitation, according to the statement, but the date has yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, Khan hoped progress on Afghan peace talks, saying his country is doing its part to pave the way for a sooner Intra-Afghan Talks.

Intra-Afghan talks are reportedly set to take place in the coming days and the Afghan government will form a delegation to monitor the process.

International and National efforts are ongoing for the quick start of the Intra-Afghan peace talks.
