A Pakistan Charity Hands over 8 Trucks of Relief Goods to Afghan Authorities

A Pakistan charity foundation called Al-Khidmar handed over eight more trucks carrying relief assistance to the Afghan authorities at the crossing point Torkham on Thursday, April 28, 2022.

The relief assistance that is arranged under the Ramadan Package of the charity foundation is worth Rs 20 million and includes food packages and other items.

The fresh 80 trucks bring the total number of trucks delivered by the foundation to 154 and the total amount of 1311 tonnes of goods worth Rs 300 million delivered to the Afghan people.

The items provided by the foundation have so far been distributed in Kunar, Paktika, Nangarhar, Kabul, Helmand, Kandahar, and other provinces.

The plight of needy Afghans is still going on with over 24 million in need of life-saving assistance while 95 percent of the people are under the line of poverty.
