The Afghan Special Forces killed nine Taliban militants during the operations in northern Faryab and Kunduz provinces.
The informed military officials said Tuesday that the Special Forces killed 7 Taliban militants in Pashtun Kot district of Faryab.
The officials further added that the Special Forces also detained a Taliban fighter and destroyed a small cache of weapons during the operation.
Furthermore, the Special Forces killed 2 Taliban fighters during a separate raid conducted in Khanabad district of Kunduz.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the operations so far.
