The security forces killed 7 Taliban fighters during the operations in Helmand and Zabul provinces.
The security forces also arrested five Taliban fighters during the same operations.
The military officials said an airstrike killed 3 Taliban fighters Marjah district of Helmand.
The officials further added that the Afghan Special Forces killed 4 Taliban fighters in Shinkai and Qalat districts of Zabul.
Furthermore, the Special Forces arrested 5 Taliban fighters during the same operations.
The Taliban militants have not commented regarding the operations so far.
