A premature car bomb explosion killed six Taliban militants in southern Kandahar province of Afghanistan, the Afghan military said Saturday.
The 205th Atal Corps in a statement the militants were busy preparing a car bomb when the explosion took place.
The statement further added that the car bomb went off in Mes Kariz Village of Maiwand district.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the incident so far.
