According to an order of the prosecutor, the six Afghans accused of setting Moria camp on fire on Lesbos island of Greece remained in custody.

These six individuals between the age of 19 and 17 are suspected of setting fire to the Moria camp that left 13,000 refugees without shelter.

They are charged with arson and participation in criminal groups, but the defendants denied charges against them and claimed they fell victim to the false testimony of another afghan who lived near them in the camp.

The affiant proved them, arsonists, due to tribal differences, defendants claimed.

Police were reportedly supported by video footage to identify one of the suspected arsonists.
