The Afghan Special Forces conducted an operation in northern Baghlan province inflicting heavy casualties on Taliban militants.

The Special Operations Corps in a statement said Saturday that the Special Forces conducted the operation in Baghlan-e-Markazi district.

The statement further added that the Special Forces killed 30 Taliban militants.

The security forces also wounded another 28 militants during the operations.

In the meantime, the Special Forces destroyed 7 fighting positions of the Taliban during the operation, the statement added.
