On Wednesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health made a grim announcement. They reported that approximately 500 people were killed in a devastating Israeli attack on the Al-Ahli Hospital building in Gaza.

This tragic incident has raised serious concerns about the humanitarian situation in Gaza and the safety of civilians during the ongoing conflict.

The hospital was filled with hundreds of injured individuals and civilians seeking shelter during the attack.

According to the Associated Press, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that Israeli warplanes targeted the Al-Ahli Hospital in central Gaza, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of people.

The ministry indicated that at least 500 people have been killed in these Israeli airstrikes, with the possibility of an increase in the casualty count.

However, Daniel Hagari, a spokesperson for the Israeli military, stated, “I cannot confirm whether this was an Israeli airstrike or not.” He also mentioned that there are currently no details regarding casualties in the hospital.

Meanwhile, the Israeli government issued a statement asserting that initial investigations by the Israeli military indicate that an Israeli attack did not cause the explosion in the hospital in Gaza but instead resulted from Hamas’s unsuccessful launch of a rocket.

Independent sources have not confirmed these claims. In Gaza, several hospitals have become shelters in response to Israel’s evacuation directive to ensure residents’ safety from bombings.
