According to a statement released by Afghan interior ministry, the operations were jointly conducted by Afghan and coalition security forces during the past 24 hours.
The statement further added, Afghan and coalition security forces conducted the operations in Kunar, Kunduz, Jawzjan, Kandahar, Logar, Ghazni, Paktika, Nangarhar and Helmand provinces of Afghanistan.
Interior ministry also added at least 15 militants were injured and around 18 others were arrested during the operations.
The operations by Afghan and coalition security forces comes amid growing violence across the country after Taliban militant group announced its summer offensive in the month of Arpil.
According to interior ministry officials the main focus of the operations are volatile regions where militants frequently operating.
Taliban militants group yet to comment regarding the report.
