43 civilians killed, wounded in Kandahar roadside bomb explosion

A roadside bomb explosion killed or wounded at least 43 civilians in Kandahar province of Afghanistan.

Kandahar Police Chief Gen. Tadin Khan Achakzai said an Improvised Explosive Device went off in an area between Khakrez and Kandahar districts. 

Gen. Tadin Khan the explosion killed 9 civilians and wounded 34 others.

Furthermore, Gen. Tadin Khan blamed the Taliban group for pursuing violence and planting the improvised explosive device.

Meanwhile, Gen. Tadin Khan said the explosion has also inflicted casualties on women and children.
