Provincial governor’s spokesperson Wahda Shahkar confirmed the incident and said the militants were targeted in an airstrike carried out by the U.S. forces.

She said the incident took place late on Friday in the vicinity of Nasru Qala area of Bagram district.

The anti-government armed militant groups including Taliban militants have not commented regarding the report so far.
