At least thirty seven militants were killed during the separate operations and airstrikes conducted in northern Faryab and Kunduz provinces of Afghanistan.

The 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan Military in the North said at least 14 militants were killed during the airstrikes in Char Dara and Dashti Archi districts of Kunduz province.

A statement by Shaheen Corps said at least four militants were also wounded and some of their weapons and munitions were destroyed during the same airstrikes.

In the meantime, Shaheen Corps said t least 16 militants were killed and 12 others were wounded during the clearance operations conducted in Garziwan district of Faryab province.

The Afghan Air Force also conducted airstrike in Khwajah Sabz Posh district of Faryab province leaving seven militants dead and another militant wounded.

No further details were given regarding the casualties of the Afghan armed forces during the operations.

The anti-government armed militant groups including Taliban militants have not commented regarding the report so far.
