IHRC Reports 340 Civilian Casualties in Kandahar during Past Few Months

The Independent Human Rights Commission (IHRC) in Kandahar says at least 340 people have been targeted in the province since Ramadan this year.

The commission said the attacks usually carried out with motorcycles, targeting tribal elders, security personnel, and the police.

According to the Commission, 220 people were killed and 120 others are injured in the targeted attacks in Kandahar province.

In addition to the recent targeted killings in Kandahar province, violence against women and minors has increased and the province has become an insecure place.
