Officials in the ministry of defense of Afghanistan announced, at least 3 Afghan natinal army soldiers were injured following roadside bomb explosion in southern Afghanistan.
According to a press release issued by the ministry of defense of Afghanistan, the incident took place in Camp Chena area at Maiwand district of southern Kandahar province.
The source further added, the injured individuals were taken to 205 Attal Afghan army brigade hospital for treatment purposes.
Afghan defense officials confirmed the health conditions of the injured soldiers are better.
No group including the Taliban militants have so far claimed responsibility behind the incident. Militants in Afghanistan frequently use improvised explosive device and roadside bombs as the weapon of their choice to target Afghan and coalition security forces.
