A group of 29 Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) left Afghanistan and arrived in London on Thursday, October 29 as part of the UK initiative.

The group was evacuated from Afghanistan as a result of interference from the British Foreign Ministry, LGBT+ rights charity Stonewall, and the asylum group of Rainbow Railroad.

The group also includes students and teachers who were advocating the rights of LBGT in Afghanistan.

The activists and foreign ministry in the UK said that this is the beginning and they will continue to help all the Afghans who are at risk.

British foreign minister Liz Truss said that Britain is a free country and people can live as they want to be and free from persecution.

LGBT Afghans have complained that they have been beaten and intimidated by the Taliban in Afghanistan thus, they have left their country.
