The Afghan forces have also killed 20 militants of the Sniper Unit of Taliban during the clash in Baghlan province.

The 217th Pamir Corps in a statement said the Afghan Air Force’s A-29 fighters bombed Taliban positions in Tapa-e-Qarghan area of Baghlan killing at least 30 militants.

The statement further added that the airstrikes killed at least 20 militants of the Sniper Unit of Taliban and wounded 10 others.

The 209th Shaheen Corps had earlier said the security forces killed 52 militants and wounded 33 others during the clash.

According to a statement released by 209th Shaheen Corps, the security forces inflicted the casualties on Taliban after repulsing a major offensive launched by Taliban.
