The security forces conducted separate operations in Kabul and Paktika provinces.
The security forces killed one Taliban fighter and arrested another militant during the operations.
The informed military sources said Thursday “In a raid in Kabul city, Afghan special forces detained 1 Taliban fighter.”
The sources further added that an airstrike in Gomal district of Paktika province district 1 Taliban fighter.
The anti-government armed militants including Taliban have not commented regarding the operations so far.
