NATO-led International Security Assistance Force officials following a press release on Sunday announced, at least two NATO service members died as a result of non-battle injuries in Afghanistan.
The statement did not provide further details regarding the exact location of the incident and nationalilties of the deceased soldiers.
ISAF confirmed the two soldiers died on Sunday in southern regions of the country.
The NATO-led ISAF generally does not disclose the identity of the casualties, saying “It is ISAF policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevant national authorities.”
This comes as another NATO service member died as a result of the non-battle related incident on Friday.
