At least two people were wounded in a magnetic IED explosion in Kabul city Monday morning, Kabul police confirmed.

The incident occurred at around 10:15 a.m. in Mahbas square in PD12 of Kabul province.

A civilian and a Security force member were wounded in a magnetic blast targeting a Ranger type vehicle, ANP stated.

No group or individual has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.

The city is rattled with the lasted string of explosions as magnetic IED explosions increase in the capital and other regions of Afghanistan.

Such insurgency attacks have increased concerns among the public, and have reduced confidence in police reconnaissance.
