Seventeen different agricultural projects worth 318 million Afghanis, was completed today in Logar province.

Logar’s Provincial Governor, Ajmal Shahpoor said in a gathering, that large-scale projects in the fields of irrigation, livestock, dairy, agriculture, horticulture, and others were completed through funding projects of the Ministry of Agriculture, World Bank, ADB, and the EU.

The total budget for the project implementation cost 318 Million Afghanis and Took one year for completion.

The governor added, that the government is committed to the welfare and development of people in the Agricultural sectors, “These projects are a step forward towards modernization of agriculture and the leadership of the government is trying to meet the needs of farmers”, he said.

17 projects were designed and implemented and furthermore projects as this will soon be executed.

The provincial council expressed their satisfaction over projects’ implementation and called for attention to all areas on the principle of development.
