Wahid Sediqi, spokesman for governor Parwan told Khaama Press that the accident took place in Matak area of the main city of Charikar on Sunday.
“Part of the Kabul-Mazar highway has been ruined in Charikar-Salang part, the driver for the passenger bus lose control of the vehicle and crashed it with a tree” he said
The victims have been transported to a nearby hospital.
Kabul-Mazar highway is one of the busiest transit ways in Afghanistan.
Due to the road damages on this highway every year dozens of people lose their lives in traffic accidents.
