115 more school girls were taken to hospital after falling ill at school in western Heart province on Thursday.
Doctors said that these girls were brought in to Herat Regional Hospital from Baba Haji area of the city.
The girls got breathing problems after swallowing unanimous gas at their school.
This is at least the third incident of its type in Herat province this week. Yesterday at least 50 schoolgirls were hospitalized and three days before 126 in similar condition.
Officials say they are still investigating the cause of the incidents.
These incidents have also taken place in Kabul, Bamyan, Maidan Wardak, Jawzjan and Badakhshan provinces in recent years.
