11 Taliban militants killed, large caches of weapons, munitions destroyed in Special Forces raids

The Afghan Special Forces killed 11 Taliban militants and destroyed large caches of weapons, munitions and explosives in the past 24 hours.

The military officials said Wednesday that the Special Forces killed 11 Taliban militants during a raid in Sharan district of Paktika province.

The officials further added that the Special Forces also destroyed a weapons cache during the raid.

Furthermore, the officials said the Special Forces conducted a raid in Nahr-e-Saraj district of Helmand and detained 4 Taliban fighters.

The officials also added that Special Forces destroyed 68.2 kg Homemade Explosives, 1 IED and a large IED making cache during the same raid.

Meanwhile, the Afghan Special Forces conducted a raid in Khas Uruzgan district of Uruzgan province and destroyed 91 kg Homemade Explosives, 26 Grenades, 2 Rockets, 25 Mortars, 22 IEDs and a large weapons cache.
