A mortar round fired by Taliban militants landed on a residential house in eastern Laghman province killing or wounding at least 11 civilians.
The Laghman Governor’s Office said in a statement that the Taliban militants fired the mortar round in Alisheng district.
The statement further added that the attack killed five members of the family and wounded six others.
Furthermore, the Governor’s Office said a woman and her three children are among those killed.
