The security forces killed 10 Taliban militants during the operations in Helmand and Farah provinces.

The Afghan forces also destroyed 40 roadside bombs during the same operations.

The informed military sources said Monday that the soldiers of 215th Corps killed a Taliban fighter in Garm Ser and Nawah-ye Barakzai districts of Helmand killing 1 Taliban militant.

The sources further added that the security forces also destroyed 40 roadside bombs during the same operation.

Meanwhile, the Afghan Special Forces killed 9 Taliban fighters in Bala Boluk district of Farah province.

The sources also added that the Special Forces arrested two Taliban fighters during the same operation.

The anti-government armed militants including Taliban have not commented regarding the operations so far.
