A group of ten ISIS Khurasan militants surrendered to Afghan Special Forces in eastern Nangarhar province, days after hundreds of ISIS militants surrendered to security forces in this province.

The Special Operations Corps said in a statement late on Friday that the militants surrendered to Special Forces in Achin district.

The statement further added that the ISIS militants also handed over 10 Ak-47 assault rifles to Special Forces.

The Special Operations Corps also added that a small group of ISIS militants are still active in Achin district who have no option other than to surrender or they would be eliminated.

This comes as the Ministry of Defense had earlier announced that more than 600 ISIS militants and their family members surrendered to Afghan forces in eastern Nangarhar province.
