Security officials in Parwan said, that one person was killed and 24 others were wounded in an explosion while security force members were offering prayers at a mosque inside Bagram base.
Abdul Wase Rahimi, security chief for Parwan police HQ said the incident took place at around 9:00 pm local time on Friday night.
Rahimi reported that all of the casualties in this incident are Afghan security forces.
The incident has reportedly taken place in the 2nd brigade of the 1st battalion stationed at Bagram airport.
Meanwhile, an Afghan military base collapsed to Taliban in Ghazni city, 25 security force members were reported missing, Abdul Jami Jami a provincial council member told the media.
Some reports indicate that the missing soldiers had surrendered to the Taliban.
In another disastrous incident on Saturday morning an Oxygen cylinder on a truck exploded in the Lab-e-Jar area of Kabul city, killing one person and injuring two others, Kabul police told Khaama press.
