Salman Khan summoned by court over hit-and-run case

It’s not going to be a ‘happy’ birthday for Salman Khan after all. His birthday celebration will be spoiled after being summoned to appear in the Mumbai court on his birthday, December 27, for a hearing in the infamous hit-and-run case of 2002.
Salman Khan was summoned by court after a social worker named “Santosh Daundkar had filed an application to the magistrate court in Mumbai alleging that false evidence was submitted to protect the actor and delay the case”, Indian media reports.
At least one person was killed and four others were injured following a road traffic incident in 2002 after Salman was allegedly driving a Toyota Land Cruiser, which crashed into a bakery in the Mumbai suburb.

Salman has been charged with rash and negligent driving causing injuries. Just days later, another court has ordered Salman to appear in connection with his role in the infamous Black Buck poaching case.
In connection to the 1998 case of blackbuck hunting at Jodhpur, were in Salman Khan who was shooting for his film Hum Saath Saath Hain, was sentenced to one year imprisonment for killing two gazelles in Bhawad village, the court today, summoned the actor, to appear before for hearing, on February 4, 2013.
