NDS regret beating of journalists by Afghan spy officers

Afghan spy agency — National Directorate of Security (NDS) officials on Sunday regretted the beating of Afghan journalists by Afghan intelligence officers during a suicide bombing incident in capital Kabul.
Around two Afghan journalists were beaten by Afghan intelligence officers on Wednesday after a number of suicide bombers attacked the spy agency in Kabul city.
This comes as the national union of journalists in Kabul following a statement called on media agencies in Kabul to protest against the violence on journalists.
At least 33 peopole were killed or injured following the suicide bomb blast on Afghan spy agency last Wednesday.
In the meantime Afghan spy agency officials said they have met with the two journalists who faced violence by Afghan intelligence officers.
Afghan spy agency spokesman Shahfiqullah Tahiri said we regret the beating of journalists and Afghan intelligence officers prevented the media representatives from getting closer to the incident area in a bid to prevent them from suffering any casualties.
