(Khaama) – Matab a privately owned hospital inaugurated on Tuesday in presence of ministers, members of Afghan parliament, high official personalities and Afghan businessmen.
Matab has been established by Sayed Sadat Naderi, the chairman of SMN Group, one of the largest business holdings in Afghanistan.
“This is a positive step towards betterment of health sector in Afghanistan”, said Suraya Dalil, the health minister. She also emphasized on the quality of services provided by health entities and hospitals and mentioned about the formulation of year 1390 budget which will be used to support public hospitals throughout the country.
Mr. Mohammad Qurban Haqjo, the CEO of ACCI, appreciated the joining of the new hospital in the private sector. ” Private sector is critical for the development of the country, government should strongly support it”, he said.
Farkhunda Zahra Naderi, the president of this hospital provided information about the services provided by Matab. ” Matab has OPD’s, 24 Emergency Section & Pharmacy, Diagnostic Section, Laboratory Section, Indoor beads and Operations Theater.” She said.
