Explosion kill NATO soldier in southern Afghanistan

According to a statement released by International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), “An International Security Assistance Force service member died following an improvised explosive device attack in southern Afghanistan today.”
The source did not disclose furhter information regarding the exact location of the incident and nationality of the deceased soldier.
International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) generally do not disclose identities of the NATO soldiers killed in Afghanistan saying, “It is ISAF policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevant national authorities.”
Troops mainly from United States of America and United Kingdom are based in southern regions of the country.
At least five NATO service membes including one US soldiers, one British soldier and 2 soldiers from the other NATO member countries have been killed in Afghanistan since the beginning of the year.
Taliban militants group and other insurgents group frequently use improvised explosive device as the weapon of their choice to target Afghan and coalition security forces however Afghan civilians also suffer casualties in a number of cases.
