Europe is struggling to find a united front to cope with the escalating migration crisis.
Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor has urged other EU countries to accept a greater share of the refugees.
But EU Parliament’s Vice-President, Mairead McGuiness, says a sustainable solution must be found at European level to stop the migrant crisis escalating further.
These migrants include people from Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria who have been fleeing their countries because of fighting.
The EU meeting is scheduled to be held on September 14.
