Truck explosion leaves 1 dead, 15 injured in Kabul

A heavy explosion rocked Contrack International, a foreign construction company in capital Kabul today at 10:45.
Mohammad Ayub Salangi, Kabul Police Chief confirming the report said, ” At least one person was killed and 15 others were injured following the blast.”
He also said, “The main target of the blast was Contrack, a private construction firm located in Pul-e-Charkhi area in eastern part of Kabul city.”
According to reports the wounded individuals have been transferred to the nearest hospital.
Taliban have claimed the responsibility of this incident.
