The Afghan security forces have foiled an attack by a female insurgent on Supreme Court in Kabul city.
A security official has said the armed woman was looking to enter into the court compound but was shot dead before she manage to go inside.
No group has so far claimed responsibility behind the failed attack on the Supreme Court compound so far.
But the Taliban militants group earlier warned to carry out attacks on judiciary institutions and courts following the execution of a group of militants by the Afghan government.
Several Taliban, Haqqani network, and Al-Qaeda network militants were executed by the Afghan government after a major attack on VIP protection unit in Kabul.
The attack carried out in mid-April left at least 64 people dead and around 347 others wounded.
