The issue was shared during a meeting between Jan Kubis and Afghan President Hamid Karzai in ARG presidential palace on Thursday.
Kubis quoted in a statement released by ARG palace, said the election audit process is being in conducted in a well manner.
However, Kubis said it will not be possible to conclude the audit process until the second of September and it is expected that the process will end on 10th of September.
The UN mission in Afghanistan had requested to postpone the inauguation of the next president for one month period in a bid to facilitate the complete vote audit process.
This comes as Afghan President Hamid Karzai had earlier insisted that the inauguration of the next president could not further extended.
Karzai had said that the inauguration should take place by the end of August so that the president of Afghanistan can attend the NATO Summit in Wales.
The US ambassador to Afghanistan James Cunningham has also said it is vital that the next president of Afghanistan should be elected by end of this month so that he attends the important international summits, including the NATO summit in Wales.
