Afghanistan presidential policy chief killed in capital Kabul

Chief of the policy department at the Afghan presidential palace Sebghatullah Sanjar died following a traffic incident in capital Kabul on Saturday.
A spokesman for the Afghan presidential palace Hamid Alami confirmed the death of Sebghatullah Sanjar and said his daughter was also killed following the incident. He was also a member of the Republicans party of Afghanistan.
Gen. Ayoub Salangi chief of the Kabul police department said the vehicle of Mr. Sanjar collided with a military transportation vehicle in Kabul airport road.
He also said Mr. Sanjar was killed along with his daughter and his wife was injured during the incident.
According to Gen. Salangi the driver of the military vehicle has been arrested and Afghan police has started an investigation in this regard.
Sebghatullah Sanjar was working as the chief of the policy department at the Afghan presidential palace during the past 5 years.
