Afghan parliament approve budget draft for 1392

According to reports the Afghan finance ministry has revised the budget draft after Afghan parliament rejected the draft two times.
The budget draft was introduced to the Afghan parliament on late November which was rejected by Afghan lawmakers on 21 December for the first ime and was later once again rejected on 16 January 2013.
The draft was revised by Afghan finance ministry and according to reports additional budget for a number of inftrastructure projects including road construction project and provincial airports development has been added to the draft.
In the meantime Afghan finance ministry officials are saying that the amount of the budget draft remains unchanged however allocation of funds to various projects have been revised.
Finance Minister Hazrat Omer Zakhilwal said the current budget draft can not fulfill all the requirements of the Afghan people however the current budget draft has been prepared considering the facilities and income of the government.
He said over $1 billion of the budget will be spent on military equipments and Afghan security institutions and the government will be left with $2 billion to spend on development projects.
