Abdullah to meet US Senators, Canadian officials during his official tour

The Chief Executive of the Government of National Unity Abdullah Abdullah left Kabul for US and Canada on official visit.

The Office of the Chief Executive in a statement said Abdullah is accompanied a delegation of high level government officials during his visit to US and Canada.

The statement further added that the Chief Executive will hold official talks with the senior officials of the two countries during his visit.

He will also hold talks with the US Senators regarding the situation of the country during his visit to Washington.

According to the Office of the Chief Executive, issues such the ongoing situation, developments, and available challenges on the way of the unity government is included on the agenda of the talks with the US senators.

Abdullah will also deliver a speech regarding the situation of Afghanistan and the region in some research centers in Washington.

During his visit to Canada, Abdullah will participate in a security conference hosted by the country, the Office of the Chief Executive added.

Apart from that, the Chief Executive will participate in a UN session on the situation of Afghanistan where he will deliver a speech on behalf of the government.
