5 people wounded in Jalalabad blast

Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal, spokesman for Nangarhar police headquarters confirmed the incident.
Mashriqiwal says the explosion took place in Baba Wali Hotel this afternoon at the time people were having food there.
He added that no one was arrested but an investigation was initiated into the incident.
No groups including Taliban have claimed responsibility for the explosion.
Although, Nangarhar is comparatively a secured province but recently terrorists have increased their activities in this eastern province.
On Saturday terrorists martyred two policemen and injured two others in an explosion targeting their vehicle.
Terrorist had attached the magnetic bomb to Afghan border police vehicle.
Fazludin Ayar, a border police officer told Khaama Press that two border policemen were martyred and two others wounded in the explosion in Kabul Bus Station or Kabul Hada area of Jalalabad city.
He said that the vehicle was also damaged in the explosion.
Nangarhar province located in the eastern part of the country is a strategic areas of Afghanistan.
On addition to the long border, it also has a transit way and a bus service with Pakistan.
The buses strait cross Torkham gate into Nangarhar province from Peshawar city of Pakistan.
According to local security officials in Nangarhar on several occasions they have recovered bombs and other explosive materials including suicide vests from these buses.
Afghan government has repeatedly complained to Pakistan about the explosives and terrorists from across the border but turned these reports as baseless.
