2 Afghan soldiers killed or injured following blast in Nangarhar

According to local security officials in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan, at least two Afghan national army soldiers were killed or injured following a roadside improvised explosive device blast in this province.
The officials further added the incident took place on Monday morning in Khogyani district, killing one Afghan soldier and injuring another service member.
Taliban militants group claimed responsibility behind the incident and said three Afghan soldiers were killed and two others were injured following the blast.
In the meantime officials in eastern Kapisa province of Afghanistan said at least eight Taliban militants were killed in TAgab district.
Tagab district security chief Mohammad Nawroz confirming the report said the militants were killed in a joint military operation by Afghan and US special forces.
Taliban militants group yet to comment regarding the report.
